Some of what the tools know comes from open data published by others. These are their notices, in their words.

Postcodes and places

When you tell Nookly where a building stands, it asks postcodes.io for the coordinate — your browser asks it directly, and none of it passes through us. What comes back is stored rounded to a tenth of a degree. The sun cannot use more than that, so we do not keep more than that.

Northern Ireland postcode data carries a separate licence, so we do not read it. A postcode beginning BT is answered from a single figure of our own for the whole territory, as are Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
